ABOUT THE TOUR
The famous waters between Exmouth Golf and Lighthouse Bay provide the perfect rest stop for the humpback whales on their annual migration. Here is where the whales are most relaxed and playful, making for exceptional whale encounters. The Ningaloo Reef provides habitat for a diverse range of marine species including healthy populations of Turtles, Dugongs and Manta rays- just to name a few!
Our friendly and experienced crew serve a light morning tea and a delicious buffet style lunch including local Kallis Prawns (we can also cater to dietary requirements with notice). We offer a courtesy bus which will pick you up and drop you off from your nominated accommodation in town and take you down to the marina where Heron is stationed. We leave from the marina around 9:00am and travel out through the gulf (which is also a humpback resting area) to nearby the beginning of the Ningaloo reef where we will view the humpbacks possibly performing spy hops, tail slaps, breeches, pectoral slapping and bubble blowing as they play in the protected waters. We will finish off the day with a refreshing snorkel / swim in the pristine waters of Lighthouse Bay where you may get the opportunity to see and swim with the resident turtles and manta rays in the area.
Our trained and friendly staff will be there to assist you to make sure you have the best day possible out on the water. During the tour there will be a delicious lunch served, hot beverages, water and soft drink provided. We provide all gear that is required and as a little bonus we will have a professional photographer on board and all photos are included in the price for you take home to remember your day out with us.
If you are interested in an enjoyable relaxing half day activity and not looking to be on a boat for the entire day this is the tour for you.
